Leroy Smith is the man who motivated Michael Jordan. Known for his “Balltastic” skills on the court, Leroy Smith claims to beat out Jordan for the Varsity Team at Laney High School. From there, Smith says it best “After I beat out MJ for the last spot on our varsity team, he went on to become the greatest basketball player of all time”.
